The Movellan Manoeuvre (audio story)

The Movellan Manoeuvre was the second story of the third series of The New Counter-Measures, produced by Big Finish Productions. It was written by John Dorney and featured Simon Williams as Ian Gilmore, Pamela Salem as Rachel Jensen, Karen Gledhill as Allison Williams, Hugh Ross as Toby Kinsella and Carolyn Seymour as Suzanne Clare.

David Richardson, the producer, stated that The Hollow King was intended to conclude the range, but its standalone nature and fan popularity led to further entries in the series in order to provide a better sense of closure. The Movellan Manoeuvre, together with its follow-up The Dalek Gambit, which was released on the same day, form a duology which serves as the overall conclusion to the Counter-Measures range.

• The depiction of the Robo-Helper 2000 on the story's cover has several design similarities with the Dalek androids seen in TV: Bad Wolf.
