Threadstone was an old friend of the Sixth Doctor. He decided to visit him in 2016 but his daughter Heather Threadstone said that he had gone missing. He had started to investigate the Dominus Institute. He later rescued the Doctor and his daughter when the Blanks. He was partially hypnotised by the Decayed Master to aid his escape.
