Redlink question markedit source

I'm not personally seeing question marks at the end of missing pages. So I'm rather guessing this is something that's only affecting you. It used to be possible to choose the question mark as an alternative way of displaying a redlink. I don't see that option in Special:Preferences anymore, so I'm not quite sure how you've activated it.

At this point, I recommend you do a few things.

 1. Think about anything you did with your preferences a day ago, and simply reverse the process.
 2. If you can't think of anything you did, simply go to Special:Preferences and reset to defaults. This should clear the problem, as this question mark thing is/was a preference one could choose. Default is a plain red link, so resetting to defaults should clear your problem.
 3. If that doesn't work, you can either follow developments at community:forum:link question mark, where I've asked a question about your problem.
 4. If you don't want to wait, or nothing shows up at the forum in the next day, you can just speak to Wikia Staff directly by using the the form at Special:Contact/bug.

What I'm basically saying is that you've somehow messed up your account, and, because of recent Wikia changes to Special:Preferences, I can no longer offer you a step-by-step solution to your problem. You'll have to ask Wikia Staff, or wait for responses in the above-named community forum thread.

Sigedit source

You asked earlier about whether your sig works. I'm now going to reverse my stance and say, no, it's got to go. The reason is that, in the mobile Wikia skin, you have no clear links to your talk page or your user page. Bring your signature back, please, to the point that there's a clear link, either through symbols or words, to your talk page and your user page. (In mobile, div statements are largely disregarded, leaving just the plain links behind.)
czechout<staff />   20:23: Wed 08 Feb 2012

I remind you that you are still in violation of T:SIG LOOK. Please change your sig to accommodate that rule.

Rename picturesedit source

The procedure for renaming pics is no different than for any other page, though I suppose there's one extra tool. You can use either rename, as I probably would for the case you cited, or spelt if you've spotted a simple spelling error in the title. Adding one of these tags notifies all admin to the problem, rather than just me specifically. Remember, though, that if you're going to put up one of these tages, you should be prepared to offer an alternative name, as the usage instructions for those two templates indicate.

The above instructions tell you to put either rename or spelt onto an image whose name you think should be changed. They don't tell you to try to move the file yourself. Obviously you don't have the permissions necessary to actually move the file yourself.

250pxedit source

Please make sure all images you upload are greater than 250px in length, this is part of our manual of style. Any image than are less than 250px will be deleted. MM/Want to talk? 15:20, February 28, 2012 (UTC)

Yes, because it's length was less than 250px. MM/Want to talk? 15:30, February 28, 2012 (UTC)
250px or more. When you upload an image you will see it's size. For example, your Fifth Doctor image was 325 x 215. If the second part, in this case 215, is smaller than 250px, it can be deleted. It can be difficult to know an image size before you upload - I myself have upload some images that I had to delete straight away. The only exception are maintenance and user images. MM/Want to talk? 15:56, February 28, 2012 (UTC)
Just to clarify, MM means width here, not length. Pics must be a minimum of 250px wide. They should also be at least 4:3 (4 units wide and 3 units tall), but preferably 16:10 (i.e., widescreen). See T:GTI and T:ICC for more.

Replaced imageedit source

Why did you replace the image Third_and_Sarah.png with a file that had neither character in it? Americanwhofan talk to me 02:58, March 1, 2012 (UTC)

I have revert this edit. It is now back as it was. I cannot understand, at all, why you decided to replace an current image with something completely different. What was wrong with uploading it? The only time, in my eyes, an image should be replaced is when there is something fundamentally wrong with the image - and someone else upload an image that fixes this fault. This fault should be if the image is blurry, has a network logo or a watermark visible.
Also, when you do click on 'upload a new version of this file' you do get the option to rename the file.
Please do not do thing again. MM/Want to talk? 12:48, March 1, 2012 (UTC)

Christmas cheeredit source

Happy holidays!

As this fiftieth anniversary year comes to a close, we here at Tardis just want to thank you for being a part of our community — even if you haven't edited here in a while. If you have edited with us this year, then thanks for all your hard work.

This year has seen an impressive amount of growth. We've added about 11,000 pages this year, which is frankly incredible for a wiki this big. November was predictably one of the busiest months we've ever had: over 500 unique editors pitched in. It was the highest number of editors in wiki history for a year in which only one programme in the DWU was active. And our viewing stats have been through the roof. We've averaged well over 2 million page views each week for the last two months, with some weeks seeing over 4 million views!

We've received an unprecedented level of support from Wikia Staff, resulting in all sorts of new goodies and productive new relationships. And we've recently decided to lift almost every block we've ever made so as to allow most everyone a second chance to be part of our community.

2014 promises to build on this year's foundations, especially since we've got a full, unbroken series coming up — something that hasn't happened since 2011. We hope you'll stick with us — or return to the Tardis — so that you can be a part of the fun!
