Professor Elizabeth Holub was the granddaughter of Liz Shaw who lived in Prague in 2050. She was experimenting with cold fusions when her experiments drawn the Seventh Doctor and Ace to Earth. After discovering the Doctor's past with her grandmother, she assisted him in defeating a powerful little girl who wanted to avenge Prague for the death of her father in an explosion.
