On 1 March, 1981, the Fourth Doctor regenerated. He had thwarted the plans of the Tremas Master to use CVEs to control the universe. (TV: Logopolis) Adric, Nyssa, and Tegan helped the newly-regenerated Fifth Doctor escape awkward questions by the police. (TV: Castrovalva)
Amongst the other notable things that occurred on this day were:
