Jacob Finch was the son of Clive Finch and Caroline Finch. In 2005, he answered the door to speak to Rose Tyler. She asked for Clive about the Ninth Doctor, and he called for him, saying Rose was "one of [his] nutters".
Later, while shopping, he saw Autons kill his father in their invasion of Earth. Jacob and Caroline ran from them. (TV: Rose)
