Hedgewick’s World of Wonders was once the greatest theme park in the galaxy, but became a dilapidated home to a shabby showman, a chess-playing dwarf and a dysfunctional army platoon. According to its map, the park contained at least the Spacey Zoomer Ride, a beach, a "water world", a "big wheel", a garden, a boating lake, a port, a hotel, "Fireball", "the Giant Cauldron", "Eyeball Terror", "Mushroom Terror" and "Natty Longshoe's Castle".
The platoon led by Captain Alice Ferrin was sent there as punishment for their disobedience. The day that the Eleventh Doctor, Clara Oswald, Angie Maitland and Artie Maitland arrived at there, Cybermen invaded. The planet was destroyed under the orders of the Emperor of the Universe.
