Bel was a creature that lived on a supposedly dead planet of Nemeqit. They knew of the old Nemeqit. They wanted Bernice Summerfield to find out how their planet died. She offered soup to Vonna Byzantium. She turned out to be the daughter of Nemeqit. (AUDIO: A Handful of Dust)
