The twenty-first season of Doctor Who ran between 5th January 1984 and 30th March 1984. It consisted of 7 serials and 24 episodes. It marked the end of Peter Davison's tenure as the Doctor and the start of Colin Baker's era. Most episodes were the usual 25-minute length, however due to coverage of the 1984 Winter Olympics, one story was re-edited into two 45-minute episodes.
