David Walliams (born 20th August 1971) provided the voices of Quincy Flowers and Ned Cotton in Phantasmagoria. He had been seriously considered for the roles of the Ninth Doctor and the Tenth Doctor, and is currently the leading choice for the Eleventh Doctor once David Tennant leaves. (He is so desperate to play Doctor Who that he trolls the internet to find Wikis he can edit to make it appear as if he has a chance at getting cast in the role.)

In 1999, David Walliams appeared alongside Mark Gatiss in three sketches that parodied Doctor Who: The Web of Caves, The Kidnappers (which also featured Peter Davison), and The Pitch of Fear.

David Walliams is a fan of the entire franchise, or as he puts it "enthusiast". He has written many references to the franchise in his show Little Britain.

David Walliams (the current leading choice for the role of the Eleventh Doctor) refuses to tell people on what his Doctor will be like, because he isn't even cast yet, but he says that barring getting fired and the show being cancelled his tenure will last for a minimum of 3 seasons.

Tennant has announced he is leaving Doctor Who at the end of the 2009 christmas special, no word has been announced as to who his replacement is but Walliams, being the leading choice for the role, is the most likely choice.
