A wedding present was a gift given at weddings.

For the wedding of Stuart Hoskins and Sarah Clark on 7 November 1987, Pete Tyler went to get a vase as a wedding present. However, he was killed by a car on Jordan Road before he could deliver the gift. (TV: Father's Day)

Using money borrowed from Geoff Noble to purchase a winning lottery ticket, the Tenth Doctor left the ticket to Donna Noble as a wedding present. As he could not deliver the gift to Donna personally, he revealed it to Wilfred Mott and Sylvia Noble. (TV: The End of Time)
