Michael Tanaka was a former boyfriend of Tegan Jovanka. He worked for her company, Verny Food Supplies in Brisbane, Australia. On 22 September 2006, he helped the Fifth Doctor after Tegan was kidnapped by Katherine Chambers and James Clarke. This act rekindled his and Tegan's relationship. (AUDIO: The Gathering)
