Daland was an actor for Jolly Chronoholidays. He played Omega in one of the re-enactments of his exploits. After helping the Fifth Doctor during an incident with the real Omega, he was invited by the Celestial Preservation Agency to portray the Doctor in a museum dedicated to him on Gallifrey.
