The (Final) Doctor Who History Tour was the tenth and, as the name suggested, final story in The History Tour series by Tim Quinn and Dicky Howett. The tenth part covered the 20th century up to 1963, the real-world start of Doctor Who.

- The Doctor says mankind made vast strides in technology during the 1930s and this was evident at the BBC's Alexandra Palace in North London where the earliest television programmes were made.
- According to the Doctor, due to the difficulties in maintaining a clear picture, the BBC solved the problem by shooting such productions as Romeo and Juliet in a Snowstorm and The Billy Cotton Bandshow in a Blizzard.
- Starting with the coronation of Elizabeth II, royal specials became a mainstay of the BBC.

- This was the final story in The History Tour. Tim Quinn and Dicky Howett kept a presence in Doctor Who Magazine with their parodic Doctor Who? series which lasted until DWM 225.
- This story implies that the Sixth Doctor knows the BBC has produced a show based on his adventures. This reflects both Quinn and Howett's earlier work as well as the state of the Doctor Who universe in general.
