Behind the scenes

In 1975, the BBC and the real-life Walt Disney Company coproduced a crossover between Doctor Who and their annual holiday special Disney Time: Disney Time 1975, where the Fourth Doctor (Tom Baker) introduced various clips from Disney productions.
Their TV channels, Disney Channel and Disney XD, aired K9 and, in the US, reruns of Doctor Who itself.
As of 2019, Disney owns 20th Century Studios, the parent of the Fox Broadcasting Company.
