Emma Peel visited Bonjaxx's birthday party at Maruthea. She participated in the bar fight started by a Meep. As the Seventh Doctor left Maruthea with Ace, she fought Captain Britain with John Steed. (COMIC: Party Animals)

Emma Peel is one of the assistants of John Steed in The Avengers. Diana Rigg played her in the TV series and Olivia Poulet plays her for Big Finish Productions.

Leela was conceived by writer Chris Boucher as a mixture of Emma Peel and Leila Khaled.

In behind-the-scenes material, director Scott Handcock described the Torchwood audio story The Office of Never Was as "Ianto Jones as Emma Peel" in the classic Avengers episode "The Joker".
