"A man who is probably Chronotis reappears in PROSE: Unnatural History as Professor Daniel Joyce."

One of the authors of Unnatural History specifically denies this in a Usenet post:

Prisoners of Shada

Should the prisoners of Shada be added to the cast list? Or should a list of them merely be added to the Story Notes?

My sources are from In Vision's issue 44 of Shada and Doctor Who Plotlines - Shada.

The prisoners and the actors / actresses who would of played them are:

Lucretia Borgia - Ann Lee

Boedicia - Joan Harsant

Lady Macbeth - Shirley Conrad

Salome - Julie Le Rousse

Executioner - John Cannon

Rasputin - Derek Moss

Nero - Barry Summerford

Gladiator - Steve Kelly

Genghis Khan - Dave Cooper

Dalek - Steve Ismay

Cyberman - Ridgewell Hawkes

Zygon - Les Shannon

Other prisoners not mentioned in the cast list but elsewhere in the magazine were:

Rungar, a war criminal

Sabjatric, a mass murderer

Wirrn

Invalid source

According to T:VALID this is invalid because it is one big deleted scene. Therefore, I am adding an invalid source tag.--104.32.214.184talk to me 23:39, November 29, 2014 (UTC)

Continuity

It is a policy of this wiki that stories labelled as "invalid source" do not have continuity. I have removed the continuity entries from this article and am placing them here. Shambala108 00:07, August 15, 2015 (UTC)

If I remember correctly, there's clips of both Romanas in Resurrection of the Daleks.165.225.80.225talk to me 16:40, November 23, 2017 (UTC)

Shada on Gold

just wondering abuot this clip wich seems to show that the 1992 version of shada was shown on uk gold in 1995 just wondering if its real or fake and wether it whoud make shada valid <--removed per Tardis:Video policy-->

Because this story has now been officially completed by the BBC, even getting a cinema (as of writing), DVD and Blu-Ray release (2 weeks from release as of writing), wouldn't it now be officially a valid source, and the infobox can put in the date of the completed version?

This is currently being discussed at Thread:226169. --Borisashton 12:49, November 25, 2017 (UTC)
Can someone tell us when that discussion has been closed up and the final verdict has been decided over the validity of the 2017 restoration of Shada? JMC Red Dwarf 18:38, January 22, 2018 (UTC)
The discussion hasn't been officially closed, since anyone still can comment on the Thread, but as far as i can see, everyone was positive about making Shada a valid story. P.H. CP 01:36, January 23, 2018 (UTC)
Thank you. You’ll still tell us when the discussion has been officially closed, right? It’s just really frustrating that this whole issue over the validity of the 2017 restoration of Shada is unresolved. JMC Red Dwarf 04:09, January 23, 2018 (UTC)
JMC, if you're really interested in getting the topic closed, you could pester an admin on their talk page. – N8 12:43, January 23, 2018 (UTC)
It's not necessary to "pester" an admin; we are aware of the forum discussion and its current state. Thanks, Shambala108 13:57, January 23, 2018 (UTC)
The thread has now closed and the 2017 version was ruled in favour of validity. Check the final post for details. --Borisashton 00:33, February 7, 2018 (UTC)

Cast and crew of unfinished versions

As per Thread:226169's conclusion, the main page should contain the cast/crew of the finished version, with the unfinished cast and crew added into the notes section, when they differ from the finished version. Moving both cast and crew lists from the 1993 unfinished VHS here for now.

1993 unfinished VHS cast

1993 unfinished VHS crew

If someone has the time, they can compare this list with the one present on the main page, and add the relevant missing information of the appropriate sections. OncomingStorm12th 18:16, April 22, 2018 (UTC)

Also, given these were credited on DWM 267, they should be added back if they are still relevant to the 2017 release, if we have T:OOU SRC backing that information up. OncomingStorm12th 18:20, April 22, 2018 (UTC)

Uncredited cast

BBC America broadcast

Should the broadcast of the 2017 version of Shada on BBC America from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm Pacific Standard Time be mentioned on this article? (JMC Red Dwarf 17:46, July 20, 2018 (UTC))

Premiere broadcast

On a related note, is there a reason the infobox for this story just says 2017? The lead mentions that the original broadcast took place on 19 July 2017, on BBC America.

Infobox

Is it just me, or is most of the infobox not showing up properly? It shows up fine in an edit preview. Chubby Potato 04:08, 23 April 2021 (UTC)
