Edith Renner was an antiquarian who wanted to see Madame Vastra, but encountered Strax. She wanted to enter membership of the AD Club and new of Vastra's heritage. She knew of Vastra's collection of historical artefacts from the Silurian civilisation. She was a member of the sisterhood of Ikor. (AUDIO: The Ghost Writers)
