On 24 January, the following important behind-the-scenes events were known to have occurred:
- 1964 - Having been handed its script 18 days earlier, David Whitaker rejected the story line of Moris Farhi's scrapped episode The Fragile Yellow Arc of Fragrance as unsuitable for Doctor Who.
- 1966 - Pre-filming for The Ark began at Ealing Studios. (TCH 7)
- 1969 - Episode four of The Seeds of Death was recorded at Lime Grove Studios D. (TCH 14)
- 1996 - Location filming for the TV Movie took place. (Doctor Who The Handbook: The Seventh Doctor)
- 2001 - The Big Finish audio story Neverland was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2003 - The Big Finish audio story Doctor Who and the Pirates took place at the Moat Studios.
- 2011 - The fourth series of Big Finish's audio series Jago & Litefoot was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2012 - The Big Finish audio story Gods and Monsters was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2013 - The Big Finish audio story Domain of the Voord was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2017 - Recording for The Dreams of Avarice took place at Audio Sorcery.
- 2018 - Big Finish announced the original cast members of Torchwood would be reunited for the audio box set Believe.
- 2020 - The second series of Big Finish's audio series Missy was recorded.
