Boot

Boots were a sturdy item of footwear covering the foot and ankle, and sometimes also the lower leg.

The Eighth Doctor wore caramel brown boots under gingerbread leather gaiters, (COMIC: The Pictures of Josephine Day, A Matter of Life and Death, The Lost Dimension, Empire of the Wolf) up to his death during the Time War. (TV: The Night of the Doctor) His war successor wore them for a time, (TV: The Night of the Doctor; AUDIO: Light the Flame; WC: Doctors Assemble) before switching for darker brown boots under charcoal leather gaiters (COMIC: The Clockwise War, The Lost Dimension, Four Doctors, The Whole Thing's Bananas; PROSE: Engines of War) up to his death after the Fall of Gallifrey. (TV: The Day of the Doctor)

The Fourth Doctor wore olive green wellington boots when he and Romana defeat Krell. (TV: The Power of Kroll)

The Sixth Doctor wore forest green ankle boots under royal orange spats. (TV: Twin Dilemma-Time and the Rani) as did his successor before switching outfits. (TV: Time and the Rani)

The Tenth Doctor noted that a footprint did not look like a boot. (TV: Army of Ghosts)

A leather boot was found along with a single femur and an abandoned recording device containing a low-res vid-pict of a Magneton on Skaro. (PROSE: Dalek: The Astounding Untold History of the Greatest Enemies of the Universe)
