- 1960 - The BBC Television Centre, which was frequently used by Doctor Who as a recording studio, was officially opened.

- 2015 - The Big Finish audio story Aquitaine was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2021 - Big Finish announced the Jenny: The Doctor's Daughter audio anthology Still Running.
