- 1968 - Episode four of The Dominators was recorded at BBC Television Centre Studio 3. (TCH 12)
- 1974 - Studio filming for Robot took place at BBC Television Centre studio 3. (REF: Doctor Who The Handbook: The Fourth Doctor)
- 1977 - Studio filming for Horror of Fang Rock took place at Pebble Mill. (REF: Doctor Who The Handbook: The Fourth Doctor)

- The Big Finish audio story The Curse of Davros was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- The BBC announced that they had commissioned a 2011 Christmas special, as well as a seventh series, with Matt Smith remaining in the role of the Eleventh Doctor. Piers Wenger, however, would step down as executive producer and leave the BBC altogether.
- 2012 - The sixth series of Jago & Litefoot was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2015 - Big Finish's audio adaptation of the novel Theatre of War was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2017 - The Big Finish audio Static was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2018 - The Big Finish audio Chase the Night was recorded.
- 2019 - The first series of The Robots was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2021 - Big Finish's audiobook anthologies Short Trips: Volume 11 and Short Trips: Volume 12 were recorded.
