The Beverly Hillbillies was an American television sitcom created by Paul Henning. The Beverly Hillbillies was also spun off into comics which were published in Lady Penelope alongside several comics featuring DWU elements. The original televised run of the series spanned from 1962 to 1971.
Crossovers with the DWU
The sole narrative crossover between The Beverly Hillbillies and the Doctor Who universe took place in the TV Century 21 cover story Time Barrier Busted, which made reference both to The Beverly Hillbillies' inclusion in then-upcoming magazine Lady Penelope, as well as to the Lady Penelope comic The Vanishing Ray, which was itself a crossover with the DWU.
