On 14 April, the following important behind-the-scenes events were known to have occurred:
- 1964 - Pre-filming for The Aztecs was completed at Ealing Studios. The First victim's jump from the temple in "The Temple of Evil" and Ian and Ixta's fight in "The Day of Darkness" were filmed. (TCH 2)
- 1965 - Pre-filming for The Chase continued at Ealing Studios Stage 3A/B. Filmed that day was the battle between the Daleks and the Mechonoids; the filming of the battle was completed the following day. (TCH 5)

- 1982 - Studio filming for Snakedance took place at BBC Television Centre studio 6. (REF: Doctor Who The Handbook: The Fifth Doctor)
- 1989 - Location filming for The Curse of Fenric took place. (Doctor Who The Handbook: The Seventh Doctor)
- 2010 - Big Finish's audio adaptation of the unproduced TV story Crime of the Century was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2016 - The Big Finish audio story Order of the Daleks was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2020 - The Big Finish audio stories The Enemy of My Enemy and Echoes of Extinction were recorded remotely.
- 2020 - Doctor Who: Lockdown! hosted a tweetalong of Heaven Sent in commemoration of Peter Capaldi's birthday.
- 2021 - The Big Finish audio story Watchers was recorded remotely.
