A Quiet Night In was the second story in the audio anthology Killing Time, produced by Big Finish Productions. It was written by Lou Morgan and featured Derek Jacobi as the War Master and Katy Manning as Jo Jones.

Continuity
- The Master manipulates Jo into thinking he is Jo's uncle, who got her hired at UNIT. (AUDIO: Storm of the Horofax, Taken For Granted)
- The Master mocks Jo by saying that the Doctor never came back for her after he left. Unbeknownst to her, the Tenth Doctor would secretly visit and observe some of her adventures shortly before his regeneration into his eleventh incarnation, and she would finally encounter the Eleventh Doctor with Sarah Jane Smith at the Doctor's funeral.
