Dame June Whitfield (11 November 1925-28 December 2018[1]) played Minnie Hooper in the Doctor Who story The End of Time.

She is perhaps best-known for playing June Monsoon, mother of Edina and grandmother of Saffron, on the famed BBC sitcom Absolutely Fabulous (alongside Jennifer Saunders, Joanna Lumley and Julia Sawalha).

She is the mother of Suzy Aitchison, who appeared in the AudioGO story Tsar Wars.
