Professor Grey reflects on his move away from academia. He explains that he recently met Larry Nightingale and his wife Natasha, and was struck by how normal they were despite the sensational things Larry told him. He reflects on how many people guard secrets that would amaze or terrify others, including suggesting that someone standing in a post office might be from the Sunflower Galaxy or a ghost.
