Moorgate was a tube station located on the Circle line. It was also serviced by three other lines, two depicted in black and the other depicted in rose pink, on a map of the London Underground network. On the both Circle and pink lines, Moorgate was located between Aldersgate and Liverpool Street. On the main black line, it was located between Old Street and Bank, while it was the southern terminus of a second black line, which again ran north via Old Street. It was located north of the River Thames. Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

  • The pink and black lines which appear on the "London Underground map" [+]Part of The Doctor: His Lives and Times, Loading...{"page":"40","namedpart":"London Underground map","1":"The Doctor: His Lives and Times"} have yet to be named within the DWU. In the real world they are of course the Metropolitan and Northern lines respectively.
  • The short disconnected branch of the Northern line which ran north via Old Street was taken over by National Rail in the 1970s to become the Northern City Line. As the line is no longer operated by London Underground, it no longer appears on Underground maps.
