Dimension bridge
A dimension bridge was a pathway that allowed for direct travel from one universe to another.
The Committee built a new Rift Manipulator in the Hub, using it to stabilise the Rift and create a dimension bridge along which their final form could travel to Earth. The Cybermen of the Cyber-Mainframe developed and used dimension bridge technology to create dimension bridges that they could use to travel from one universe to another; (AUDIO: Code Silver) this was a fundamental element of their campaign to upgrade the entire multiverse. On Earth during the 2010s, the UNIT personnel Petronella Osgood, Colonel Vikram Shindi and Captain Josh Carter used dimension bridge technology acquired from the Auctioneers to travel to a cyber-controlled parallel Earth in the form of mental avatars. Following the virtual conversions of Osgood and Shindi by the Machine, a dimension bridge was formed that connected to the Hive, located underneath this Earth's Piccadilly Circus, to the Fortress Island of the N-Space Earth. The Cybermen of Hive Section 49, (AUDIO: Telepresence) led by a Cyber-Controller and a Cyber-Commander, then crossed the dimension bridge from the Hive to Fortress Island and attempted to commence full dimension seeding on N-Space.
