Current history, or currently-valid history, was a term used in the study of Meta-History. It referred to the currently active version of history from one's own perspective, and was affected significantly by Major Space-Time Rewrites. (PROSE: Love & War [+]Loading...["Love & War (short story)"])

In her 2323 paper Love & War: A Meta-Historical Investigation of the Dawn of the Cosmic Revolution, Dr Olivia Kagg Waldermein stated that the supermassive black hole Sagittarius A* "now hovers menacingly at the legendary coordinates of the Gods' Base of Operations," the former home of the Lesser Time Elementals, "and, as far as current history is concerned, it always has."
