Basil Hallward was a construct in the Land of Fiction based on the character in the The Picture of Dorian Gray. He painted to titular portrait of Dorian. He attended a performance of Romeo and Juliet where Sibyl Vane performed badly. He was concerned about Dorian when he went on several long trips without contacting him. He encountered the War Master pretending to be Dorian Gray's valet where they talked about the painting. The Master showed him the portrait after it had taken the toll of Dorian's chaotic life. After this Dorian carried out the predestined murder. (AUDIO: The Master of Dorian Gray [+]Loading...["The Master of Dorian Gray (audio story)"])
