A woman in Omaha began knitting the world's longest scarf in 2001. By 28 April 2019, she had knitted roughly one and a half million rows.

When the year 2004 mysteriously disappeared from human history, the woman was able to prove that the year had definitely still happened by dividing the number of rows by the average number she had done in a day, with the final count showing she had not missed a year.
