The Princess and the Frog played a part, to some extent, in the BBC's preparations for Christmas one year. As they oversaw the preparations together, Sarah Alexander informed Rob Brydon that "the princess" had arrived, but that "the frog" had been mislaid, causing Rob to worry about how they were going to have "the Princess without the frog".
