Wire frame
By the time of Earthdeath in the year 5,000,000,000, Lady Cassandra, having undergone 708 surgeries, existed as nothing more than a thin area of skin hanging tautly across a wire frame, with only her eyes and mouth left functioning. Her brain was kept safely in a jar beneath her skin, and she was regularly moisturised by her two surgeons.
Following the incident, Cassandra was left without her surgeons, causing her skin to burst. In 5,000,000,023, Cassandra used a psychograft to transplant her mind and consciousness from her dying brain into the body of Rose Tyler, converting her skin into energy which allowed Cassandra to leave Rose's body and inhabit others. Meanwhile, Cassandra's brain meat expired as the psycho-graft was activated, leaving Cassandra unable to return to it as she abandoned her frame within the New New York Hospital.
