The King Vampire was the leader of, and last surviving Great Vampire.
Biography
The King Vampire led his people in war against the Time Lords, however through use of Bowships they were defeated. Only he survived and fell into E-Space. He used his powers to bring the ship Hydrax with him perhaps through creation of a CVE. The three Human crew he made Vampires to serve him: Aukon, Zargo and Camilla. They filled the fuel tanks with blood fed to the king through tubing. He lay dormant under the ship for a thousand years growing in power. The ship became a castle figure with a comunity around it. Pesants were selected to be fed to him including Karl, son of the head villager. The time of arising came and he began lifting himself from the ground when the Doctor launched a scout ship from the ship, the metal spike on it pierced the Kings heart as it fell into the hole he lay in. With his death the Great Vampires became extinct. (DW: State of Decay)
