Plot[[edit] | [edit source]]
It turns out that only Gordon was killed, the ship commander tells Alby that the daleks implanted a disc in Gordon's head, making him a kind of advanced Robo-man. The Supreme dalek and the Dalek Emperor discuss current events. Alby mentions Project Infinity, the ship commander questions how Alby knows about Project Infinity, Alby says he doesn't know what it is, he only knows where it is and he only knows about it because of Susan. The ship commander suspects that Susan knows a lot about Project Infinity. He tells Alby that the daleks must not find out about it Project Infinity, otherwise they will be able to destroy it. He tells Alby to find Susan and ask her about Project Infinity; and if she knows too much, he must execute her.
Years later, a dalek informs Susan that the Supreme Controller dalek is on it's way, and that it wants her to go to a location to meet with it. Susan says that she only takes orders from the Supreme dalek, and if it's that important for the Supreme Controller to meet her, it should come to where she is; she then sends the dalek on it's way. Kalendorf tries to do a telepathic communication with Susan, but she's not having it; she starts blurting out secret information that only she and Kalendorf know about. Afterwards, she asks Kalendorf if the alarms have gone off, he says no, which Susan says means the daleks trust her enough to not be constantly observing her. Later, daleks shoot down the door of the room Susan is in and tell her to come with them, or they will exterminate Kalendorf.
The daleks take Susan and Kalendorf to where the Supreme Controller is. The Supreme controller asks what Kalendorf's purpose is, but refuses to let him speak, wanting Susan to explain. Next, the Supreme Controller says that Susan and Kalendorf were often seen looking at each other, but not saying anything, it questions this. Kalendorf lies that they were praying; the Supreme Controller asks why they were praying, Kalendorf says they were praying for a future where the daleks have all been destroyed, the Supreme Controller says that that won't happen. Later, the Supreme Controller accuses Susan of telling slaves to remove the cameras from the last room she was in. A group of people are shown on a viewing screen, the Supreme Controller asks Susan if they are the slaves who removed the cameras, she says yes, the Supreme Controller then orders the extermination of those slaves.
Hive Leader Stralos detects a ship heading towards the space station he is occupying, he contacts the pilot to tell them to not get to close, or else their ship will be destroyed by the space station's forcefield. The pilot, Mirana, says that she believes that a criminal is hiding on board the space station; Stralos says that is impossible, as nothing can get through the force field surrounding the space station. Mirana says that the criminal is using very advanced technology that allows them to do that. She asks if they can lower the forcefield to let her through, Stralos says that he doesn't want to take the chance, Mirana asks if they can at least teleport her ship onto the space station, so Stralos tells his minion, Karik, to teleport the ship onto the space station, Mirana identifies the criminal as Alby Brook. On the space station, Mirana finds something and tries to tell Stralos about it, but Alby jams communications and then points a gun at Mirana. Alby asks Mirana why she has stalked him through 5 galaxies. Mirana wants to know what Alby has been doing for the past few years; Alby tells her that it not her concern nor is it the concern of the company she works for. A little later, Hive Leader Stralos attacks Alby, injuring his legs. Alby retreats back to his ship and escapes.
Alby gets his legs repaired by his ship, which is a painful process. He goes to Carson's Planet, a neutral planet in the war, and goes into a pub. He converses with the barman, who tells him that Carson's Planet used to be under dalek control, but it was freed by the Earth Alliance. The barman also says that there are dalek duplicates on the planet, he jokes that either one of them could be a dalek duplicate. Mirana returns and confronts Alby. The daleks find out that Alby is on the planet and start extensively searching for him. Alby and Mirana get to Alby's ship; daleks begin firing on the ship, and they only just manage to get off of the planet. Mirana threatens Alby with her gun, so Alby activates Protocol 5, a security measure which destroys her gun.
Susan Mendes talks with the Supreme dalek, who tells her that the Dalek Emperor will speak with her now. When the Dalek Emperor appears, Susan asks it why it is now speaking to her. The Dalek Emperor says that the reason is because Susan has now reached the end of her journey. Later, there is news that the dalek slaves have started a rebellion against the daleks. Alby arrives on the planet that Susan is on and finds Kalendorf, he does not ask about Susan; Kalendorf asks him if he is afraid to ask. Alby breaks down in tears as he guesses what must've happened. Kalendorf calmly tells him that the daleks exterminated Susan.
