Design[[edit] | [edit source]]
The design appeared as a red telephone box, with a pair of doors with glass windows leading into the control room. Above the doors, the design bore a symbol resembling a royal cypher with the letters "E R", along with the words "POLICE TELEPHONE". (PROSE: Jikū Daikettō! History[[edit] | [edit source]]
The exterior appeared to be in use when the First Doctor encountered Ian Chesterton and Barbara Wright on Barnes Common and they, along with the Doctor's granddaughter Susan, wound up in an adventure on Skaro.
