By one account, one TARDIS control room was used by the First Doctor, appearing to contain two yellow pillars in its centre. (PROSE: Jikū Daikettō! The control room appeared to be in use when the First Doctor encountered Ian Chesterton and Barbara Wright on Barnes Common and they, along with the Doctor's granddaughter Susan, wound up in an adventure on Skaro.
