Opening[[edit source]]

Cutting straight to the chase on this one; I don't like how, on the pages that list media releases, births and deaths, etcetera by year, dates on which multiple events happen get listing multiple times.

As in:

  • 1 March - Thing happened.
  • 2 March - Thing happened.
  • 2 March (again) - Another thing happened.

In these instances, I think the list would look much better if we only bullet-pointed the date once, with the actual notable events being in sub-bullet points.

As in:

  • 1 March - Thing happened.
  • 2 March
    • Thing happened.
    • Another thing happened.

I may have been a bit overeager and implemented this change on a couple of pages already, but I'm gonna be a good boy and ask before I do anymore.

So, yeah, yay or nay? WaltK 15:31, 8 March 2024 (UTC)

Discussion[[edit source]]

I thought this was already the common style, and I agree it looks self-evidently better. --Scrooge MacDuck 15:50, 8 March 2024 (UTC)

I agree that the proposed style looks much better. × Fractal 16:37, 8 March 2024 (UTC)
I think it definitely looks better, yes. Aquanafrahudy 📢 🖊️ 17:29, 8 March 2024 (UTC)
Agreement from me also... In times of editing those pages before, it has slightly annoyed me having such a large amount of repetition of the dates over and over. This would be a much better way to handle things.

This seems to be a purely logical change and I've nothing to say except that I support the change. 13:53, 9 March 2024 (UTC)
