100 Doctor Who Annuals To Be Won was a competition printed in Doctor Who Magazine.

The competition was started in DWM 10 where readers were presented with a word search which contained only the letters in "Doctor" and asked to determine how many times that word appeared in the grid in a straight line, written either forward, backward, diagonal, across, up or down. Entrants also had to complete the sentence "I like Doctor Who Weekly because" in twenty-five words or less and then cut out the page and send it in with their details, postmarked no later than 22 December 1979. As usual employees of Marvel Comics or the BBC and their relatives were barred from participating.

The prizes consisted of one hundred copies of the 1980 Doctor Who Annual which were normally priced at £1.75. This prize had been teased by the Fourth Doctor in the previous issue's instalment of A Letter from the Doctor. Also, a picture of the annual appeared on the front cover of the tenth issue to promote the competition, printed in colour as opposed to the black-and-white of all of the magazine's interior pages at the time.

The results came in DWM 18 where the names of the one hundred winners were printed along with the solution to the puzzle which revealed that there had been fifteen instances of the word to find.
