A Letter from the Doctor (DWM 9 short story)
A Letter from the Doctor was a short story printed in DWM 9, and was the ninth in the A Letter from the Doctor series. It was structured as a letter "written" by the Fourth Doctor to the readers of Doctor Who Weekly.
The story was actually written by Dez Skinn, a fact he kept concealed for many years until he revealed it on his website.[1]
Plot[[edit] | [edit source]]
In his latest letter, the Fourth Doctor explains that TARDISes are bigger on the inside, a fact he considers lucky as the response from readers to the prize-giving competition in issue 5 have begun pouring in and are beginning to crowd even the huge space in the TARDIS. He states that he and his team are currently wading through the entries by taking them into a timeless dimension meaning the wait for results would not last much longer. The Doctor then teases the contents of the next issue, which will see them give away one hundred Doctor Who annuals as prizes and also include a special feature on Davros.
