Across Europe, the Seven Years' War was fought between George II's England and Scotland, bound by the Act of Union, against France. A Slitheen disguised as Sir Edward Scott Cameron would later describe it as a prequel to World War I and "a glorious affair" that "spanned continents" and "consumed countless lives."
