Alexander Pope

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference
Alexander Pope

Alexander Pope was a 19th century writer and a companion of the Ninth Doctor. The Doctor brought him and Theobald to see a performance of William Shakespeare's Cardenio. Tired of the constant arguing between the Theobald and Pope, the Doctor threatened them with restriction from the TARDIS food machine's supply of viennetta. (PROSE: Double Falsehood)

The Sixth Doctor once quoted Pope on the subject of coffee. (PROSE: Strange Attractor) In 1733, he had published An Essay on Man. (PROSE: I Was a Monster!!!)
