History[[edit] | [edit source]]

Upon arriving in the Vault in 2012, the Ninth Doctor, accompanied by Rose Tyler, found the helmet of the Cyberman amongs exhibits on display. He described it to Rose as "an old friend. Well, enemy." Observing "the stuff of nightmares reduced to an exhibit", the Doctor found that he was "getting old". (TV: Dalek [+]Loading...["Dalek (TV story)"])

After encountering Cybermen in another universe, Rose recalled the helmet, having recognised the Cybermen's distinctive "handle shapes". The Tenth Doctor explained that the Cybermen also began on an "ordinary world" in their universe. (TV: The Age of Steel [+]Loading...["The Age of Steel (TV story)"])

Years later, Adam Mitchell used this Cyber-helmet to send out a sub-ether signal in order to lure out a Time Agent. (COMIC: Mystery Date [+]Loading...["Mystery Date (comic story)"])
