Oh Mummy! was a special mini-episode on the Pyramids of Mars DVD that jokingly told the story of how Sutekh landed the role of himself in the story. It won the Doctor Who Magazine Award for Best DVD Special Feature in 2005.

Plot[[edit] | [edit source]]

In 2006, Sutekh walks down the street, saying good afternoon to his neighbours. He steps inside a pyramid. An assistant polishes his helmet, whom he vanquishes with a beam of light, stating that she missed a spot. Sutekh recounts his experience as an actor playing himself in Pyramids of Mars, beginning with the audition process. He was first discovered performing Pantomime by Philip Hinchcliffe, who was impressed by his ability to "shred the mind of Widow Twankey", which was not part of the performance. During the auditions, he and Hinchcliffe set fire to something called "Fury from the Deep".

Sutekh recounts that in his opinion, his character was portrayed as far too evil. He suggested the changing of one line, from "I bring Sutekh's gift of death to all humanity" to "I bring Sutekh's gift of jelly to all human life." He also recommended "Ocelots" as an alternative. The suggested changes were ultimately declined. Sutekh did not participate in location filming, spending his time in the BBC studio playing Pong.

Sutekh states, to his disappointment, he faced typecasting after the release of Pyramids of Mars. He briefly starred in two television shows, Seek Sutekh and Sutekh's Swap Shop, both of which were cancelled after one episode due to Sutekh murdering an elderly woman and child, respectively.

Sutekh became disappointed in the industry and soon moved on to a career as a milkman, selling a brand called Pyramids of Moos. He states that he brings Sutekh's gift of milk to all human life. In addition, he worked as a Santa Claus in the holiday season. These jobs allowed Sutekh to focus time to his passions, such as antkeeping and art. He also owned a rabbit, which he referred to as the "real plaything of Sutekh." The rabbit's name was Neil. ("Neil, before the might of Sutekh!")

Summing his life up, Sutekh says he has no regrets - minus the child he killed with the war missile. Rising from his chair to get some photographs, a human hand is revealed, which Sutekh tries to hide from the camera. In a post-credits scene, Sutekh injures himself whilst "treading in darkness."
