Sarah and Brittany Mordley's apartment
In the 2000s, Brittany Mordley and her mother, Sarah, and her father lived in an apartment in Philadelphia.

The main door to the apartment led into the living room, which was carpeted. The room contained a couch and a television. The dining room had a clear line of sight to the living room, and the dining room contained a table. The kitchen was located round the corner from the living room. Around 2000, Brittany's father died of an aneurysm in the living room whilst watching television. Brittany had been the one to find his body. Afterwards, Tom Mordley — Brittany's uncle — often did extra shifts despite being a grad student, to help Sarah pay the rent.
In 2008, Brittany returned home to the apartment after school, to find her uncle's possessions in boxes on the couch. She asked her motehr about them, and she told Brittany that she had to collect them from the storage company as they had raised their rates and Sarah couldn't afford to keep using them. Brittany offered to get a job, but Sarah told her that her education was more important. They shared dinner together before Sarah had to go to her second job, leaving Brittany to do her homework in the dining room. After, she went into the living room to go through the boxes, and after finding a vial of Cyberon, she went to her bedroom, storing the drug in a drawer in her desk. After having a dream about the Cyberon that night, the next morning, she couldn't take her mind off it while getting ready for school.
