Legacy[[edit] | [edit source]]

In the sixth incarnation of Scooby-Doo, dating to the early 1980s, Shaggy and Scooby encountered real ghosts and vampires rather then men in masks. Scooby-Doo films from this era included The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo, Scooby-Doo Meets the Boo Brothers and Scooby-Doo and the Reluctant Werewolf. Toshiko Sato asked Owen Harper which Scooby-Doo character he would be while heading into the basement of the Torchwood Hub. Owen replied "Oh, Fred, definitely", but Tosh thought that he reminded her more of Shaggy. Owen joked "Well, you know what they say. Shaggy by name, shaggy by nature". Shaggy was with Scooby-Doo in a room when Scooby licked custard from a custard pie thrown by Krusty the Clown, and watched on as Wyldstyle landed between he and Scooby, remarking "zoinks!". He later stood with Scooby near the Mystery Machine when it was rebuilt into the Mystery Monster, and later again as Scooby ate a Scooby snack. Finally, he stood by a LEGO Gateway as a child placed Scooby-Doo and the Ecto-1 onto the pad. (WC: Endless Awesome [+]Loading...["Endless Awesome (webcast)"])
