Starll was a Sontaran and a member of the Eternity Club.

Starll came to be a part of the Eternity Club. He was observing the Magellan Cluster out of interest in the 19th Astrometric Brigade when Bernice Summerfield joined him in the holographic observatory to try to locate the Ascension Pennant for 312. When Grizella led an expedition to the City of Parroon, Starll joined and had to be told by Benny to stop trying to eat one of the pillars. He was attacked by Sister Lost, as were the other men on the expedition, from behind whilst he was on guard at night and was left blind. Benny tended to him with analgesic bandages.
