He’s not the only alien in Blackcastle, though. His pursuers, the terrible Wrarth Warriors, are on his trail, along with their unwitting accomplice: The Doctor!

Notes[[edit] | [edit source]]

  • This anthology features the first appearance of Beep the Meep since The Ratings War, released with DWM 313 on 10 January 2002. Beep the Meep would later make a first onscreen appearance in the television adaptation of Doctor Who and the Star Beast.
  • This anthology was announced on 13 August 2018 as the second in a series of special releases produced to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of Doctor Who on Big Finish, the first being The Seventh Doctor: The New Adventures: Volume One.[2]
  • A Big Finish news article on 27 August 2018, written in-character as Beep the Meep, advertised this anthology. It also included a short audio clip of Beep the Meep and Sharon Davies meeting,[3] which was the clip uploaded to the Big Finish SoundCloud account the same day. The description of this clip states the anthology's release date as 31 March 2019 instead of 13 March, indicating a typo.[4]
  • Another Big Finish news article on 29 October 2018 had an interview with Rhianne Starbuck, who plays Sharon Davies.[5]
  • This anthology was included in the 'Coming Soon' feature of DWM 535.
  • The two stories were recorded on 28th November and 5th December 2016 and 12th & 19th October 2017 at Audio Sorcery.[6]
