Uprising (anthology)
Uprising, or Down the Middle: Uprising, was an anthology published by Arcbeatle Press. It was an edited down version of the full anthology Down the Middle in Cwej: The Series, a spin-off starring Chris Cwej, a former companion of the Seventh Doctor.
It was comprised of 6 regular short stories and 8 snippets under an umbrella title, and featured characters and concepts from various other series, some spin-offs, and others which weren't originally connected to the DWU, but crossed over for the duration of the anthology.

After a series of events doesn't go according to plan, an uprising of the Cwejen has been unleashed onto the Universe. Only one man can stand in the way of the destruction... but he was the one who caused it in the first place! Chris Cwej begins his ultimate adventure on a planet of cannibals, to a convention for fellow psychics. Going from place to place, he finds that his actions have the most dire consequences of anyone in the cosmos. Driven between saving reality and leading the charge against it, what is Cwej to do? As the end of everything encroaches on our heroes, closing in on either side, there's only one way to go, and that's down the middle!
